Encouragement

  • I know it sounds silly, but I am really REALLY encouraged by these blogs! I am REALLY encouraged that God has moved me into a new season of life that involves FRIENDS my age who love Jesus passionately, friends who have proved to me this week that they've "got my back." Really, you guys, I can't tell you how the Lord has used you to carry me through.

  • Anyone may comment; the meetings are for men (as it allows a deeper level of openness), but all input is welcome on this site. A woman's insight is very important here, as we do not hear it in our meetings.

    I wasn't sure who Kat was. I realized she is a Christian. Much of her dialog inspired thought, so I wished to endorse her site. Thanks for clarifying, I was curious.

  • I felt extremely encouraged today when my students described the differences between English teachers in other schools and Horizon. I could not believe the stories they told - just lazy and inefficient teachers... But I was touched that they not only are enjoying my class, but also feel that it is worthwhile. I keep telling myself, it's only by God's grace that my first year could be going this well.
